Domains are tracked as first-class records alongside services, with their own expiry dates, contacts and renewal state, so a domain can be sold and renewed independently of the hosting it points at.
What is stored
- Domain name, registrar, registration and expiry dates, and auto-renew flag.
- Registrant, admin, technical and billing contacts, editable per domain.
- Nameservers and transfer state.
Expiry monitoring
A scheduled job runs daily at 01:00 and checks domains approaching expiry, raising renewal notices so a domain does not lapse silently. Renewal invoices follow the same billing path as any other recurring item.
TipRegistrar automation depends on the registrar you connect. Where no registrar integration is configured, domains are still tracked and billed — renewal is then a manual step at the registrar.
